Sears Craftsman FF20 Monster Garden Tractor - first startAug 27, 2010
Here is our new tractor, a Sears FF20 tractor powered by a 20hp opposed twin Onan engine. This was/is the biggest tractor ever produced by sears. It has a direct drive Eaton hydro transmission which drives huge 26" rear wheels. This thing could crush the GT5000 if it had the chance, and weighing in at 850lbs, that would be no problem for it. The paint job sucks, as does the seat. But for $200 it was a well worth it!

Fast Garden TractorSep 03, 2010
My Pennsylvania Panzer with a 1972 750cc Honda SOHC. Rebuilt frame, (lengthened) installed Volvo 4 speed etc. Lots of work, but the tractor would go about 100mph. This video is poor because it was taken from a TV of a VHS tape, and it's about 15 years old.
Garden Tractor Dirt Pile BuildingAug 27, 2010
This is seriously how we built the dirt pile in the field. we would use a bottom plow to dig up the dirt, then various tractors with dirt blades i the front to push it into a pile :) it took a long time. the Wheel Horse raider 10 with the 5.5HP honda on it was the best for pushing the dirt. the Blades on them, are mounted all the way on the back axle, so all the force and seight of the dirt, pushes down on the back wheels, and its the ultimate traction booster. Litterally the harder it is to push, the more traction it gets. Plus that thing is great on fuel, so that was a plus too. The Cub Cadet (the original model) was also pretty good, because the blade mounted on the foot rests, so thats back toward the back wheels too, helps transfer the weight. plus on the cub you can push down on the blade, to dig in more, thats the only tractor i have that works that way with a blade. the bolens and wheel horse's will move freely up and down over bumps and all, regardless of the position of the handle. The hydro static bolens has a hydraulic lift. with down pressure, but the blade linkage doesn't allow the down pressure to get to the blade. The bolens is unfortuantly the worst of the dirt blades. probably only better then sears. the blade mounts entirely on the bottom of the front axle. all the force is applied there, and doesn't put any really on the back wheels for extra traction. it would dig in way to easy, and stop the tractor violently in its tracks all the time, throwing the ...
